Privacy Policy
Information on the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 13/14 GDPR.
1. Controllers
The joint controllers for data processing on this website are the operators of the eolSupply service project: QOC Technologie GmbH, Elchkamp 6, 22846 Norderstedt, Germany, and Reents Technologies GmbH, Lehmweg 95-97, 25488 Holm, Germany. Contact in privacy matters: anfragen@eolsupply.de. Where required, the operators conclude an agreement on joint controllership under Art. 26 GDPR.
2. Hosting
This website is hosted by an external service provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the host’s servers. We use the host in the interest of a secure, fast and reliable provision of our offering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place.
3. Server log files
The provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits: browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the request and IP address. This data is not merged with other sources. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in error-free, secure presentation). Logs are usually deleted after a short period.
4. Contact & request form
When you contact us via the request form, by email or phone, we process the data you provide to handle your enquiry. For the request form this includes: name, email, optionally company and phone, the component items you submit (description/part number, quantity, target date), an optional target price, optional comments and optionally files you upload (e.g. datasheets, drawings, BOMs).
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in handling the contact). Form data is transmitted encrypted; delivery to our mailbox uses authenticated SMTP via our email provider (Hetzner). Your data remains with us until the purpose for storage no longer applies and is then deleted, unless statutory retention periods apply. Please do not transmit special categories of personal data.
5. Cookies & consent
By default we only use technically necessary storage. To store your cookie choice we use your browser’s local storage (key eol-consent-v1) — no personal data is transferred to us in the process. Optional statistics or marketing technologies are only activated after your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG) via our consent banner. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.
6. Web fonts
This website uses the fonts “Montserrat” and “JetBrains Mono” for a consistent display. These are self-hosted on our server and delivered directly from it. Loading the fonts establishes no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); your IP address is not transmitted to third parties for this purpose.
7. Recipients / processors
Your data is only passed to third parties where necessary to handle your enquiry (e.g. host/email provider as processors) or where we are legally obliged. No transfer to third countries takes place unless stated otherwise for individual services.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. To exercise your rights, a message to anfragen@eolsupply.de is sufficient.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Independent State Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany, or the authority of your usual place of residence.
10. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons this site uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
