A suitable wiring harness was unavailable on the open market. We arranged a custom production run to specification.
The challenge
A special-purpose machine builder needed an assembled wiring harness in a configuration not available as a standard product on the market. In-house manufacturing was uneconomical, and no standard supplier could cover the exact requirements.
Our solution
We captured the complete specification (conductor cross-sections, lengths, connectors, labeling) and arranged a custom production run through our network of manufacturers and sub-suppliers. A first article was inspected before series release.
The result
The customer now receives the custom wiring harness on a reliably plannable basis — from a fixed source with defined quality, without having to build up any in-house manufacturing capacity.
